Transforming a simple black pen into an object of desire by the act of dipping it into liquid gold, designer Robert Stadler created the Gold Dipped Pen for ACME Studio. "The idea was to simply dip the pen into liquid gold. But by doing so, one has to hold the pen on one end, which is why the gold doesn't cover its entire surface" said Stadler.
